As the strong tradition of Kansas City, Missouri Sports Teams are destroyed before our eyes, who do we look to for recompense?

Holding up the teams while KC lets the area become more and more downtrodden. When visiting the stadiums, what do fans and the teams see? Dilapidated hotels and a gas station no one want to use? Where does city planning enter into the picture? Where is a vision. Pretty words from the mayor pushing off blame for not taking a position as a leader? Folks pointing fingers at other folks is not the answer to developing a thriving city. How many businesses need to flee KCMO? Failed deals that don't scratch the back of the corporate interests downtown? Holding up the teams for support of local schools etc?

Really? Who goes to Kansas?? It will be interesting to see what it does to the loyal fanbase.
